We dealt with the various tasks our customers set us early on in our corporate history. As a result, we produced the mobile cranes product series even in the 1980s. The products kept developing along with changing customer requirements. They have undisputedly proved their worth in practice.

History

1958	The company is founded “in true manual labour” by Werner Kaltenbach; production of agricultural equipment and vehicles
1965	Renaming to Werner Kaltenbach GmbH & Co. KG; relocation to new building in Rheinweg 9, Neuenburg-Zienken. Start of production of transport facilities for Hans Kaltenbach
1971	Erection and completion of hall 2, section 1. Development of own products: universal workstations
1973	The 50th employee joins the company. Expansion of hall 2, section 2
1982	Upgrading the machinery by a dedicated boring mill department; expansion of hall 2
1985	Production and development of the mobile “Wanderkran” workshop crane
1987	Conversion of the boring mill department with the help of CNC machining centres
1988	New development of the “KWP” positioning system
1997	Contractual partnership with m-tec mathis technik GmbH
1998	Expansion of the assembly department, increased assembly of silo placing unit vehicles and machines for customers
2000	Expansion of the CAD engineering department as a service
2003	Development of a strategic partnership, production of plants for sewage sludge drying

2004	Separate production area for stainless steel; construction of process systems for the food and cosmetic industries.
2005	Breaking through the EUR 10 M turnover threshold, 100 employees, 14 trainees, new erection of hall 3, 6,500 m² hall area
2007	Contractual partnership with Mototok International GmbH
2008	50 years of Maschinenbau Kaltenbach
2008	Founding of K-Process
2009	Winner of the ReBrand Global AWARD 2009 laureate photograph
